Mora, Lukáš ; Halabuk, Dávid (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
The content of this bachelor’s work is a summarization of types of tower cranes and subsequent stress-strain analysis of the crane arm of the crane type 150EC-B8 Litronic located on the Šumavská street in Brno. Analytical stress-strain analysis is calculated with equations of equilibrium using joint method in various types of loading of the construction with MAPLE software. Numerical calculation is executed on 3D model of the construction in software ANSYS. The aim of this bachelor work is the verification of the correctness and comparison results of analytic calculation with numeric calculation and evaluation of the results from a limit states and deformation standpoint.

Drozdek, Lukáš ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This thesis "Silicone damper of a six-cylinder in-line diesel engine " is focused on the proposal of alternative using of silicone damper for the a six-cylinder in-line diesel engine, which is made for tractors and other industrial aplications. The aim of this thesis is to count the oscilation of crankshaft by the help of appropriate dynamic model, then to propose such a basic parameters of silicone damper, which absorbes torsion blip crankshaft to acceptable value. The next part of my thesis is proposal of the constructive implementation of fixation the silicone damper on the free part of crankshaft. The last part of my thesis is comparing and evaluating the oscilation of crankshaft without a dumper and with a new propsal of the silicone damper.
Electronically commutated motor
Vykopal, Petr ; Melichar, Petr (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
The main idea that lead to the development of EC (electronic commutation) motors is to remove from commutation motors, called DC (direct current) motors, the mechanical commutation system i.e. the cylinder brushes and the commutator that limits in most of the applications the longevity of direct current motors. The commutator is the source of electromagnetic interference and it limits the motor speed. At the same time it is required to keep the outstanding features of DC motors, mainly the multiple overload capacity, high starting torque, low time constant and small dimensions. Thesis introduces the problematic of electrically switched machines and their possible construction versions. Based on obtained findings there is performed an analytical calculation of EC-machine with classical stator (made with two grooves on pole and phase) and with segmental stator for given parameters. With the known parameters of the machines from personal design there were created models of both machine types, and the results obtained from the program FEMM were compared to those of analytical calculations.
Criteria for fatigue evaluation of riveted joints
Adámek, Petr ; Augustin, Petr (referee) ; Vlček, Dalibor (advisor)
This thesis describes proposal of a methodology for evaluating fatigue life of riveted joints. The first section summarizes the theory used to evaluate fatigue life, description of the structure of operation load spectra and construction principles for the design joints for optimum durability. The second part of the thesis focuses on the proposal of a methodology enabling analytical solutions in closed form suitable for the initial structural design and also numerical solutions for use in detailed analyzes of the structure. The applicability of the methodology is demonstrated on an example of analysis of a real structural detail and subsequent comparison of the analysis with available test results.
Losses of capacitor run induction motor
Štaffa, Jiří ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
This project deals with increasing efficiency of one phase induction motor with permanent split capacitor. We can whole thesis divide into two parts, the first one is basic and the second is interested in analysis and measurement. First part handles with construction of single phase induction motor, explanation of function principle, start and run of motor. Calculating of efficiency including type of losses, which reduce efficiency. Second part concerns analysis losses including moment load characteristic, motor measurement while rotor is locked, with no load operation, measuring mechanical and additional losses. Further there will be measured useful values for creation model for simulation (reactance of windings etc.). Than will be the model created in ANSYS Maxwell with module RMxprt. After analytic calculation in RMxprt and using Finite Element Method (FEM) load characteristics will be compared together. This comparison gives us information about accuracy of model for simulation. Simulation and measurement will be carried out on another engine with high quality ferromagnetic material used for magnetic circuit of motor. Further will be done simulation of motor with modifications shown in previous chapter for high efficiency.
Design and analysis of single-phase induction machine
Souček, Jiří ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design issues of single-phase induction motors. The content is divided into several basic parts. The first chapter deals with the principle function of single-phase induction motors. In particular, the asymmetry of these machines discussed with regard to the importance of connecting the auxiliary stage and its character. The following part is devoted to the analytical calculation of specific single-phase two-pole motor. I analyzed two-pole motor because at that time there were not available data for six-pole motor from Siemens. The calculation is performed according to the literature, and the resulting parameters are then compared with the model of this motor created by RMxprt. There is model of six-pole induction motor created by Ansoft/Maxwell in third part. This model shows the influence of skew of the rotor slots on the torque of machine. Then I performed measurement of this motor and analyzed of results in the last part.
Automobile Charging System
Kovačík, Lukáš ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis analyzes recharging systems in automobile. It explains main components of electric circuit used in automobile alternators, functions of each part of the alternator, comparison of the most common types of alternators. Main focus is to analyze and inovate the area of power losses, which determines the efficiency of each type. Final part of this thesis describes the analytical calculation of a three-phase generator.
Analysis of steel grade influence on small induction machine efficiency
Plíšek, Oldřich ; Klíma, Jiří (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
The theoretical part of the bechelors thesis examining the impact of the material of the magnetic circuit on the efficiency of induction motors is devoted to analysis of the induction motor and its losses. It also describes the measuring, including calculations of individual losses. Another theoretical part examines the impact of specific losses on the magnetization characteristics of assessed laminations. The practical part includes laboratory measurements of single phase and three phase motors ATAS Electromotory Náchod brand with multiple types of laminations. Measured values are used to calculate individual losses, which are later mutually compared. Models of measured motors with multiple types of laminations are simulated with the aid of ANSYS Maxwell RMxprt program. Analysis of engines with specific types of laminations are performed with the aid of analytical calculations. Results of calculations are compared with simulated and measured values.
A small three phase induction motor
Klíma, Petr ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
The main object of this bachelor thesis is to determine the parameters of the induction motor with an output of 155 W. Three ways of obtaining the parameters were chosen. Analytical calculation according to available literature, calculation in RMxprt program and laboratory measurement of the motor. For a better comparison of analytical calculations, two literary sources were chosen according to which the calculation was performed. Individual calculations and values obtained by them are included in the thesis. A comparison of the results obtained by individual methods is performed.
Thermal calculation of induction motor using thermal networks
Čáp, Martin ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Toman, Marek (advisor)
This thesis deals with thermal calculation of asynchronous motor. The theoretical part deals with principles of heat transfer, which are important for thermal calculation. Another theoretical part describes asynchronous motor analysis and its loss. In the practical part, these losses together with the electromagnetic circuit are calculated. Subsequently, two thermal networks are created to calculate the warming of individual machine parts. To ensure the correctness of the result, a bound model of partial calculations of the asynchronous machine is created. The next step is to compare the calculated electrical quantities and the calculated temperatures with respect to the measured values.
